Arguments, Fights, and Cops

Well, today have me a laugh, I mean my last class have me a laugh. Today I rather tell you what's important first. Rhetoric is the art of influence. Arguments are all around, you just have to keep your eyes open.  Arguments form a real-life matrix.
You should distinguish a rhetorical argument from blame-shifting. In an argument, you should try to win over an audience. You succeed in an argument when you persuade your audience. To win a deliberate argument, don't try to outscore your opponent.
There's a difference between an argument and a fight. You win a fight when you dominate the enemy. Fighting never persuades, it only inspires revenge or retreat. You fight to win.
Before I finish, do not try to seduce a cop!
